Little studio, big pictures.
Overview
Alongside my commercial and television work, I'm also a filmmaker and producer working through Little Nugget Pictures, an independent production company focused on developing and producing original narrative films. Through Little Nugget, I've had the opportunity to direct, produce and collaborate with talented casts and crews, bringing ambitious stories to life through independent filmmaking. Our short films The Audition and The Clockmaker have received festival recognition, including nominations at the London Arts Film Awards, where The Audition won Best Comedy. We've also expanded into feature filmmaking with All the Time in the Pub, an ambitious independent production bringing together an ensemble of cast and crew. Little Nugget Pictures continues to be a home for developing original stories, experimenting creatively and producing independent films.
The slate
Eject - A casual car sale takes a sharp turn skyward when a potential buyer decides to skip the small talk. A micro-short with spy-movie flair and deadpan wit. The Audition - An increasingly unusual audition pushes an actor and casting director to test each other’s limits, proving first impressions can be deceiving. The Clockmaker - A man tries to sell an inherited antique clock, only to discover the shopkeeper’s strange warning may be more real than expected. All the Time in the Pub - Layabout Rowan is cursed to repeat the same disastrous day after offending a pawnshop owner, trapped in a time loop centred around the speed-dating event he reluctantly hosts.
